Dorinda Caje

Visitation and prayer service for Dorinda Ann Torres Caje, 61 of Mescalero, were held on Thursday April 21, 2011 at the Mescalero Baptist Church. Funeral services was at 10:00 AM on Friday April 22, 2011 at the Mescalero Baptist Church. Burial followed at the Mescalero Cemetery.

Dorinda was born on February 24, 1950 in Mescalero to Deverne and Eulalia Betty Evans Torres and passed away on April 18, 2011 in Mescalero. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved to cook and be with her family. She was a Christian woman and was very involved with the church. She loved to read everyday especially her bible. She had worked at Ski Apache and other various other jobs with the Tribe.

She was married to Richard Simon Caje Sr. who preceded her in death along with her parents and a brother, Alden Torres Sr. She is survived by her children Stephanie L Torres, Davina N. Caje, Angelica DePaula Caje, Joseph Simon Geronimo Caje Sr., Amanda J. Torres, James P. Caje, and Matthew J. Torres. She is also survived by brothers and sisters, Orlinda Stevens, Sterling C. Torres, Lorna Torres, Ermadine Torres, Corina Torres, Devona Torres, Deverne Torres Jr., Natalia Torres, Michelle Gallerito, , 24 Nieces and nephews, and 20 grandchildren.
