Donald Wood, 83, of Ruidoso passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012 at his home. He was born March 4, 1928 in Denver, Colorado. He served in the Navy during World War II, moved to Ruidoso in October, 2007 from Cripple Creek, Colorado. He attended Ruidoso Baptist Church. He married Jeanne May Cline on January 12, 1949 in Denver, Colorado.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne two sons, Rodney Wayne Wood of Trinidad, Colorado and Richard Allen Wood and his wife Janice of Ruidoso sister, Jean VanWarmer of Cambridge, Nebraska 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be Thursday, February 9, at 11:00 AM in the Ruidoso Baptist Church.
