Diage Psalms Sampson-Kaydahzinne passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019 at his home in Mescalero. He was born May 4, 2008 to Mistri Grace Sampson and Gerard Albert Kaydahzinne Sr.
Diage attended the Mescalero Apache Elementary school and was currently in the 4th grade. He was restricted to a sheelchair most of his life do to Cerebral Palsy, but he did not let that get him down. One thing he loved to do was sit and watch other children play. He also enjoyed watching wrestling, he would get so excited when they would fight that he’d yell and scream around.
He is survived by his mother, Mistri G. Sampson and step-father, Joshua Rue; his father, Gerard Kaydahzinne Sr.; grandparents, Catherine Sampson, Benny W. and Hannah R. Kaydahzinne; great grandparents, Olivia Essary and Clement Bigmouth; his siblings, Gerard Albert Kaydahzinne Jr., Raasham Kaul Sampson, Tyler Kaydahzinne, Corinthian Sampson-Rue, Jeremiah “Katto” Sampson-Rue, Natos Kaydahzinne, Zephaniah Sampson-Rue, Kade Kaydahzinne and Noah Sampson-Rue.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 13, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. The rosary will be Wednesday at 6:00 P.M. in St. Joseph Mission where the funeral mass will be on Thursday at 10:00 A.M., burial will follow at the Mescalero Cemetery.
