Detlef Marty Martell, 69, of Nogal passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014. He was born April 24, 1944 at Dresden, Germany.
He moved to Lincoln County in 1999 from Rancho Viejo, Texas when he bought Village Ace Hardware. He was a member of the Lincoln County Home Builders and Ruidoso Rotary Club. He married Casteel
on May 18, 1996 at Brownsville, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Casteel two daughters, Gillian Huddleston and her husband, Heath and Miranda Hildenbrand son, Clayton Goodman and his wife, Chandra two grandchildren, Aiden Hildenbrand and Allison Goodman sister, Bridgette Hartnoll and her husband David.
His smile and laugh will be greatly missed.
The memorial service will be Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 1:30 PM in Church out of Church on Highway 48.
