Dennis Hill

Dennis Wayne Hill, 73, of Carrizozo, New Mexico died on Friday, March 23,2018 at his home.

Dennis Hill was born on September 8,1944 in Carrizozo, New Mexico to Wayland and Verna Ruth Hill. He spent his formative years in Carrizozo, NM. As a young adult, Dennis lived in San Diego, California where he worked forChevron Oil. He later returned to Carrizozo, and began employment with Camp Sierra Blanca Correctional Facility until his retirement.

Dennis Hill was a kind and generous man. The years he spent in San Diego led him to become an avid Chargers and Padres fan. Dennis was able to share his interest of these sporting events with his extended family. He enjoyed panning for Gold, collecting various items and the comfort and solace of his home.

Dennis is preceded in death by his sister, Arlene Najar, and his parents, Wayland Hill, and Verna Ruth Hill. He is survived by his daughter, Amy Cairone of Houston, Texas; his sister, Sharon (Jake) Lueras of Carrizozo, NM; his brothers, Marvin (Carmen) Hill, Sr.; and Wayland (Opal) Hill, Sr. both of Carrizozo, NM; his brother-in-law, LeeRoy Najar, Sr. also of Carrizozo, NM and his nieces and nephews.

The family will be holding grave side services at Evergreen Cemetery in Carrizozo, New Mexico.
