Daniel Peso

Funeral wake for Daniel Dannie Peso, 45 of Mescalero, will be Friday evening and night, April 15, 2011 at the family home in South Tularosa Canyon at Mescalero with the funeral service early Saturday morning, April 16, 2011. Burial will follow at the Peso Family Cemetery.

Dannie was born on June 8, 1964 in Mescalero and passed away on April 12, 2011 in Mescalero. He was the son of Frederick Peso, an artist and sculptor of the dance group at the entry fountain of The Inn of the Mountain Gods. He was also the great grandson of Chief Peso. He was employed with the Mescalero Apache Tribe Fencing Crew.

Dannie is preceded in death by his father, Frederick Peso, his Cousin Diana and his grandmother, Sara Peso. He is survived by his mother, Sofia Peso, brothers, Karl, Domonick and Triston Peso, Roman Aldava, his sister Monica Peso, his son Tranquilo Apachito and his Companion of 18 years, Monica Morgan.
