Daniel Licon

Memorial service for Daniel R. Licon, 62, of Alto will be Thursday, March 13, at 10:00 AM at the Angus Church of the Nazarene.

Danny was born July 1, 1951 at Roswell and passed away Monday, March 10, 2014 in Ruidoso. His parents are Ramon Licon and Cecilia Chavez. He grew up in Roswell and graduated high school in California. Danny served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He married Sandra Salas in 1972.

Danny is survived by his wife, Sandra five children, Danny Ray Licon, Alicia Licon Smith and her husband, Scott, Alexia Licon, Alejandro Licon and Cody Licon and 7 grandchildren. He also has two sisters, two brothers and countless nieces and nephews.

Danny loved to spend time with all his family, especially his grandkids. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, a true friend and companion to all his kids, grandkids and wife.

Danny will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
