Daniel Draughon

Daniel Dean Draughon was born November 28, 1966 in Beaumont Army Hospital at El Paso, Texas. He went home to meet his Saviour face to face on Sunday, February 17, 2013 in Ruidoso, NM.

He attended Edgemere Elementary in El Paso, graduated from Eastwood High School in 1984 at El Paso, TX, he graduated from Eastern New Mexico University at Portales, NM Magna Cum Laude in 2011. He accepted Jesus at the age of 8 at Scotsdale Baptist Church.

He is survived by a daughter, Daphne Draughon and grandson, Weston of Farmington son, Dylan Draughon of Mustang, OK sister and brotherinlaw, Wendy and Steve Holt, nephews, Tanner and Hunter niece, Makenna of Liberty Township, OH and his mother, Sandra Draughon of Ruidoso. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Draughon grandparents, Catherine and Louie Neder.

The family has requested memorials to ENMU Scholarship Fund, 709 Mechem Drive, Ruidoso, NM 88345.
