Courtney Meredith Pollock-Neeley

December 11, 1976 — October 3, 2024

Ruidoso

Courtney Meredith Pollock-Neeley was born on December 11, 1976, in Austin, Texas. She passed from this life on Thursday, October 3, 2023, in Ruidoso.

As a kiddo she was always smiling and loved her grandma and grandpa. She was in red hots and hot tots at Sierra Blanca and learned to ski at a very young age. At five, that girl was all over the mountain, even until last winter. She loved to ski, even teaching Atticus the love and the magic of our mountain.

Courtney never met a stranger and touched lives everywhere she went. On the road, no matter where, exchanging numbers with kids and their parents. Courney had a special place in her heart for the elderly, the wild horses, and especially Veterans. She always thanked them for their services. At the Café, the veterans would come in groups, Vietnam, Korea, WWII and even a few WWI. They always wanted Courtney to wait on them.

Courtney loved music! She could sing any song! Some of the concerts she went to include Coldplay, Neil Diamond, Bob Marley (one of his last), Metallica, Chris Stapleton, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Rod Stewart, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and many more. She saw Steve Miller Band at Red Rocks. People at concerts would ask “How old are you?” because she knew so many songs.

She loved going to the Inn of the Mountain Gods. She especially loved playing with Atticus. Soccer, kites, football, bubbles, fireworks, swimming, go-carts, waterparks, roller coasters, trampoline, and Wibit, just to name a few. Courtney loved to draw, and hangout with her mom and Atticus. Life was simple. Her favorite shows, some new, include Monk, Roseanne, In Plain Sight, and Golden Girls. She always wanted to see Jo Koy – he is funny.

Her spirit, and the impact she made on those fortunate enough to know her, will carry her memory forward. She is survived by her son, Atticus; her mom, Ginny; her aunt Cindy and uncle Kelly; her great aunts, Marge and Marie; and other extended family. Courtney is preceded in death by her grandma and grandpa.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 1:00PM to 4:00PM, at the Innsbrook Clubhouse, 103 Innsbrook Dr. Ruidoso. Bring a dish if you wish!

I love you Courtney with all my heart. It hurts how much I miss you. - Mom
