Clyde Davis Sr.

Visitation for Clyde R. Davis Sr., 65, of Mescalero will be Monday, Feb. 25, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel in Ruidoso from 2:00 PM unitl 4:00 PM. The prayer service will be Monday at 6:00 PM in St. Joseph's Mission at Mescalero where the funeral mass will be on Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 10:00 AM with Father Paul Botenhagen officiating with burial to follow at the Mescalero Cemetery. Mr. Davis passed away Friday, Feb. 22, at the Mescalero Care Center. He was born April 21, 1942 at Mescalero and had lived there all of his life. He was a cook at Cow Camp and attended St. Joseph's Mission. He is survived by a son, Clyde R. Davis Jr.; a brother, Cordell Balatche and Quinten Balatche; four sisters, Esther Balatche, Sandra Balatche, Nadena Rice and Alda Mae Davis; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Davis; a daughter, Melanie Davis and a grandson, Kelvin R. Davis.
