Clint was born on Thanksgiving morning November 26, 1987, in Ruidoso NM, and passed away peacefully September 17, 2021. Clint was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County. He is survived by his daughters, Henzlee, Lynnlee and Everlee Wetzel and stepson, Dow Rogers, parents, Paul and Twylla Wetzel, sister, Torrey Bellon (Michael Bellon) nieces, Elleigh, Madisyn, Alyse and Blaire Bellon, grandparents, Joe and Barbara Buchanan, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He had a love for family and friends and was known to feed them a meal off the back of his truck with his portable grill. Clint loved the outdoors, especially bow hunting and working on his Dodge Diesel trucks. He would give you the shirt off his back or the last dollar in his pocket. Clint was a true gentleman. He would tip his hat to the ladies and open doors for them.
Clint gave his life to the Lord when he was 13. Living under the Grace of God he loved life and lived it to the fullest! He was loved by all and will be deeply missed.
A celebration of life honoring Clint will be Saturday, September 25th at 10:30am at Gateway Church of Christ in Ruidoso.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made “in memory of Clint Wetzel” to provide an elk hunt for a disabled child at http://www.thecallbeyond.org/donate/
