Charlie Borchardt

Visitaton for Charlie Borchardt, 77, of Ruidoso Downs will be Tuesday, April 24, from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM in the First Baptist Church of Ruidoso Downs where the funeral service will be at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at the Ruidoso-Hondo Valley Cemetery. Mr. Borchardt passed away Wednesday, April 18, in Ruidoso Downs. He was born August 15, 1929 at Mesquite, Texas. He moved to Lincoln County in 1981 from Mesquite and was a retired contractor. He loved to play golf, loved the outdoors and had also trained race horses. He was the owner of the Feed Lot in Ruidoso Downs. He married Dorothy White on March 27, 1950 at Mesquite, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of Ruidoso Downs; a daughter, Lisa Brillante of Ruidoso; two brothers, Donald Gene Borchardt of Forney, Texas and Danny Paul Borchardt of Commerce, Texas; 4 grandchildren, Ashley Birllante, Jeremy Brillante, Chace Borchardt, and Jordan Borchardt and one great granddaughter.
