Funeral services for Buddie Vuicich, 85, of Georgetown, Texas and formerly of Ruidoso will be Friday, Oct. 23, at 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church of Ruidoso. Burial will follow at Ruidoso Hondo Valley Cemetery near Ruidoso Downs. Mr. Vuicich passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2009, in Waco, Texas. He was born June 8, 1924 at Eagles Nest, New Mexico. He moved to Lincoln County in 1980 from Denver City, Texas. He had owned the GMC-Pontiac, International Harvester and AMC dealerships in Denver City and Seminole, Texas and a member of the Sheriffs Posse in Yoakum County, Texas. He served in World War II and Korean War earning two purple hearts. He married Evelyn Taylor on September 29, 1948 at Seagraves, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; son, Buddie Collin Vuicich; two daughters, Cheryl Vuicich Stokes and Melody Vuicich Kump; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
