Brian Riley Seale of Tularosa, NM, 87, passed away suddenly on Monday, August 4, 2014 at Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center in Alamogordo, NM. He was born in Wortham, Texas on September 8, 1926 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theater. He was a professional dancer with the Paul Whiteman Organization in New York and later went on to be a clerk, managing the Master Calendar for the Superior Court of Los Angeles. He moved to Ruidoso in the 1970s to care for his Mother, Laura Riley Gregory. Brian was Treasurer of the Spencer Theater from its inception, thru the construction years and into the first years of performances.
He is survived by a cousin, Glynn A. Riley and his wife Pat of Brownwood, Texas and many friends in the Lincoln and Otero counties.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso, no services are planned.
