BRBobby Ray Turner, 57, of Ruidoso passed away Monday, June 11, at his home. He was born April 23, 1950 at Floydada, Texas to Edith and Virgil Turner. He served in the Army during Vietnam, was a drilling fluids engineer and moved to Ruidoso eight years ago from Carlsbad. He married Gail Rudder on February 4, 1999 in Lubbock. He is survived by his wife, Gail; brothers and sisters, Dee Turner and his wife, Charlene of Levelland, Texas, Dean Turner of Colorado City, Texas, Leta Casbeer and her husband Jessie of Lubbock, Texas, Lavern Bone and her husband Fred of Plano, Texas, Dan Turner and his wife, Diane of Breckenridge, Texas; children, Scott and his wife Jenny, Mat and his wife Geneva, and Carrie; grandchildren, Jessie , Mark and Jaydon and numerous nieces and nephews and their children. He was preceded in death by a brother, Willie Turner. He was also blessed with many friends such as Bob Reynolds, Carol Roller, Erik Siegel, Mary Ann Siegel, Jim Russ, Nelda Nadine, Kim and Nancy Donaldson, Cam, Babs, and Kymie, Father John, Carla Caveness, Ginny Archambault, Donna Reyes, Earl Rudder, and his Brothers In Arms worldwide. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
