Billy Eugene Beck was born on June 1, 1967, to Larry and Lucille Beck in Mescalero, New Mexico where he lived all his life. He had two brothers and one sister.
Billy was taken home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 20, 2023, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He is survived by his spouse, Sharon Taazah and four children.
Billy was a man of many trades. He was a firefighter for the B.I.A. Forestry; ski lift operator for Ski Apache; maintenance worker for the tribal maintenance department and the Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino; and he worked with the tree thinning crew for DRMP in Mescalero. Back in the day, Billy helped during the annual rodeo. He helped wherever he was needed during the rodeo.
His hobbies were never limited as he enjoyed the outdoors i.e., hunting, hiking, and fishing. Upkeep of the yard was something he valued. One passion of his was cooking. He loved to cook!
Billy was a man with a big heart. He accepted anyone and everyone as a friend. There was also a silent side to him. Although he was one with a sense of humor, he displayed respect by feeling admiration for someone because of their personal qualities, or their status, by treating them in a polite and kind way.
