Benjamin Lorenzo Sanchez Jr. "Coach Ben Sanchez" passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018 in Rio Rancho, NM. He was born March 10, 1989 in Ruidoso, NM and had lived in Lincoln County all of his life. Coach Ben coached at Hondo, Ruidoso, Capitan and Mescalero with the schools and Little League.

He is survived by his mother, Corena Baca; brother, Isaac Sanchez; sister, Melinda Silva; the Love of his life, Brie Martinez; daughter, Jeneah Leigh Sanchez; sons, Benny Pete Sanchez; his grandpa and grandmother, Amie and Pete Baca Sr.; Nino, Pete Baca Jr.; aunt, Camille Baca; mother-in-law, Beckie Martinez; father-in-law, Epifanio Martinez Sr.; brothers-in-law, Cameron Martinez, E.J. Martinez, Ty Martinez and Jerome Martinez; godsons, Bryce Magoosh and Christobal Lerma; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Benny Sanchez; paternal grandfather, Eduardo Lalo Sanchez; paternal grandmother, Verlinda Sanchez.

Rosary service was Thursday, August 9, 2018 with the funeral mass on Friday, August 10, 2018 at St. Eleanor Catholic Church. Burial followed at St. Jude Catholic Cemetery at San Patricio, NM
