Benito Dalton

Ben Dalton, 82, of Capitan passed away on Monday, July 29, 2013 at his home. He was born May 11, 1931 at Pecos, NM and had lived in Lincoln County for 60 years moving from Pecos, NM.

He retired from the Ft. Stanton Hospital in 1990 and he loved to play baseball, fish, hunt, and was an avid Dallas Cowboy Fan. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Capitan. He married Favia Sanchez on September 12, 1955.

He is survived by his wife, Favia of Capitan children, Theresa Baca of Capitan, Patsy Godinez of Santa Fe, Gilbert Montoya of Capitan, Christine Serna of Albuquerque, Debbie Dalton of Albuquerque and Christel Dalton of Capitan sister, Susie Armijo of Pecos, NM 20 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 13 great great grandchildren.

The rosary will be Thursday, August 1, at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Capitan with the funeral mass to follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Capitan Cemetery.
