Belva Choneska

Belva Jean "Honey Lou" Choneska, 62, of Mescalero passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 in Ruidoso. She was born May 15, 1956 at Mescalero and had lived there all of her life. She retired in 2017 from the Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino after 28 years.

She is survived by her husband, Rocklyn Choneska; children, Lambert Choneska, Amos Choneska and Paul Choneska; a grandson, Rocky Choneska; brothers, Leonard Kanesewah III and Fred Kanesewah; sisters, Rudene Zumwalt, Pansy Ahidley, Cheryl Rice, Beverly Kanesewa, Joy Wyatt, Mary Lou Kanesewah, Ida Kanesewah, Helen Kanesewah, Brenda Kanewewah and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in the Carrizo Christian Fellowship with burial to follow at the Mescalero Cemetery.
