Bartley Mcdonough

Bartley Toby King McDonough, 81, of Capitan, NM passed away peacefully on October 29, 2013 in Alamogordo, NM.

Bartley was born September 9, 1932 in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from R.L. Paschal High School, where he and his sister Patricia were both in the marching band, and Bartley went on to graduate from Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth, TX. Bartley served his country in the United States Army then taught music and social studies in the Capitan Municipal School District in Capitan, NM where he retired.

Bartley is survived by his daughter Gaylea Louise McDonough Horner of North Vernon, IN two grandchildren Chantelle Horner Merideth of North Vernon, IN and Matthew Horner of Albany, NY, and great grandchildren Leanne Elizabeth Rose Hadley and Vanessa Hadley both of North Vernon, IN, his sister, Virginia Coleman McDonough Kellum Jimmie of Holly Ridge, NC.

Bartley was preceded in death by his parents James Coleman McDonough and Elinor Billie Virginia King McDonough, infant brother Harry Clyde McDonough, his sister Patricia Pat Linton McDonough Hartman.
The memorial service will be at First Baptist Church, in Carrizozo, NM on Monday, November 11, 2013 at 3:00 PM.
