Barbara Plunkett

Memorial services for Barbara L. Plunkett, 70, of Ruidoso will be held at a later date at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Mrs. Plunkett passed away Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at Mescalero, she was born November 13, 1938 at Stamford, Connecticut. She had moved to Ruidoso in 2005 from Ft. Sumner, NM and was a retired certified nurses aid. She was a very loving and kind wife, mother and grandmother. She married Eugene Plunkett on November 2, 1957 at Ridge, NY and he preceded her in death on September 18, 1996. She is survived by her four children, Keith Beal Plunkett of Elephant Butte, NM, Janet Lee Martz of Ruidoso, Barbara Jean Kilpatrick of Madison, Alabama and Robin Ann Whitehead of Cape Cod, Massachusetts; one sister, 3 brothers, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
