Annette Torres

Visitation for Annette Boogie Torres, 48, of Mescalero will be Friday, October 7, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel in Ruidoso from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM with the prayer service at 6:00 PM at the Mescalero Reformed Church. The funeral service will be Saturday, October 8, at 10:00 AM at the Mescalero Reformed Church with burial to follow at the White Tail Cemetery.

Ms. Torres was born February 3, 1963 at Mescalero to Anita and George Parker Lester Sr. and she passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2011, in Ruidoso. She had worked at the Inn of the Mountain Gods for over 30 years and currently was the Retail Director. She graduated from Tularosa High School in 1981 and was Miss Mescalero 8. She had lived at Mescalero all of her life. She married Jordan Torres Sr. on November 6, 1984 at Mescalero.

She is survived by her husband, Jordan three children, Jordan Torres Jr., Theodore Torres, and Tanis Torres mother, Anita Lester brothers and sisters, Tammy Torres, George Lester Jr., Joel Lester, Becky Lester, Gilda Tenorio, Dwight Evans, Sharolynn Evans, Marla Evans, Rena Chee, Thelton Lester, Marvil Lester Aunts, Sadie Comanche and Viola Morgan and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jordan Temple Torres her father, George Parker Lester Sr. two brothers, Royce Evans and Nathaniel Lester.
