Andrew Coleman

Andrew Franklin "Andy" Coleman, 58, of Hondo, NM passed Thursday, September 13, at his home. He was born February 19, 1960 at Portales, NM and moved to Lincoln County in 1965 from Portales.

He worked for the New Mexico State Highway Department and retired after 25 years. He was with the Hondo Fire Department and EMS. He attended the Tinnie Baptist Church. He married Gladys Hobbs on November 8, 1985 at Carrizozo, NM.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys; his children, Johnathan Coleman and his wife Stephanie, Shane Coleman and his wife Jessika, Bobby Coleman and his wife Josie and Cristy Griewahn and her husband Arron; grandchildren, Ryan Coleman, Landon Coleman, Chance Coleman, Logan Coleman, Wyatt Coleman, Taylen Coleman, Izabella Coleman and Maci Griewahn; siblings, Shotgun Coleman and his wife Susan, and Julia Hobbs. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Julia Katherine Coleman and sister, Irene Marr.

He was a loving husband, dedicated father and Papa.

His memorial service will be Sunday, September 16, at 5:00 P.M. at the Tinnie Baptist Church.
