Albert Platta Sr.

Visitation for Albert Platta Sr., 65, of Mescalero will be Wednesday, May 22, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, the funeral will be Thursday, May 23, at 1:00 PM in the First Presbyterian Church in Ruidoso with burial to follow at the Mescalero Cemetery.

Mr. Platta passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Mescalero. He was born July 14, 1947 at Mescalero and had lived there most of his life. He work for the Mescalero Apache Tribe in the Housing Authority Department. He attended the First Presbyterian Church in Ruidoso. He married Phyllis Chupco on November 26, 1988 at Maud, Oklahoma.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis children, Veralyn Mendez and her husband Greg, Albert Platta Jr. and his wife, Uretta, Percy Platta, Euphrasia Platta, Christ Peganse, Jessica Zysk, Benedict Platta and Newton Platta brothers and sisters, Jerry Mancito and his wife Ethel, Wilford Platta, Earlene Wise and her husband Andrew, Derlene Padillo, Berdina Hugar and her husband Robert, and Avadean Gallardo 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
