Born on March 31, 1972 to Nathaniel Agatha Chee, and raised in Mescalero New Mexico was called to our Great Father on May 13, 2012 in Lubbock Texas.
Attended Ruidoso High and participated in Basketball and Football.
An extremely vibrant person who loved God, his Apache tradition, his family, his children and playing sports.
Was a spiritual leader to the Mescalero Apaches both emotionally and vocally. He loved and prayed for not only the people of the reservation, but also for the land, the animals and the way of life. He was always so kind and eager to lend a helping hand to whomever or whatever the need. He was eager to build new friendships and very kind hearted once you got to know him. He welcomed many people with open arms whether you came from near or far.
Was an avid basketball, softball and billiards player. He participated in many city leagues and tournaments, both locally and in other places. The two favorite teams he loved were the LA Lakers and Pittsburg Steelers. He also loved the outdoors and looked forward to guiding hunters for the Elk hunts every year.
Devoted countless hours in supporting his childrens participation in competitive sports.
Not only did he love to sing for the Chee dance group, but he loved to dance as well. During the times when he would perform for people, he always was so gracious in sharing his tradition heritage which was passed on to him by his late father, Nathaniel Chee Sr.

Prayer service will be Tuesday, May 15, at 6:00 PM at St. Josephs Mission where the funeral mass will be on Wednesday, May 16, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Mescalero Cemetery.
